Wild Pepper “Grand Opening”

Oh Wild Pepper – we in the uHood are not fooled by your "Grand Opening" banner nor by your three new plants outside. We know you are the same crappy Wild Pepper we never ate at before. At least have some creativity in your re-launching efforts like the restaurant formerly known as Toad's!

 1. Wow – did they even change the signage? This is an impressively lazy "re-lauch" of Wild Pepper. I guess once you invest in a giant Grand Opening sign, you might as well get some use out of it now and again.

 2. Ha – I was curious about the re-Gran Opening, but there’s absolutely no indication of it on their site or Yelp. I really think someone just put the sign up after buying those flowers. In my Internet snooping, I have to say, a really enjoyable way to kill 5 minutes is to read the yelp reviews of this place sorted by rating (lowest) first:http://www.yelp.com/biz/wild-pepper-san-francisco?rpp=40&sort_by=rating_ascMan, can some people hate on some Wild Pepper. I mean, this place just seems to get to people personally.

 3. Having had the shits from an eggplant dish there, I have to say I
agree with the one-stars. Getting lo-grade food poisoning tends to
make you hate on the restaurant that gave it to you.
